A little about Grundfos pumps
Founded in 1945 in the Danish railway town of Bjerringbro, Poul Due Jensen started Grundfos in the cellar of his home. Fast forward over 75 years and Grundfos is the largest pump manufacturer in the world and a global leader in innovative pump solutions, with more than 19,000 employees globally.
Grundfos originally began life as “Bjerringbro Pressestøberi og Maskinfabrik” (Bjerringbro Die-Casting and Machine Factory) in that cellar in Bjerringbro, before changing to “Bjerringbro Pumpefabrik” (Bjerringbro Pump Factory) in 1953.

Come 1967 the company rebranded to “Grundfoss” – a name originally for one of it’s pump products. By 1968 however a slight change was made to drop one ‘s’ from its name, and it’s been known as “Grundfos” ever since.
With an annual production of more than 16 million pumps, covering every pump and application from circulator pumps to submersible pumps, and centrifugal pumps to electric motors, it’s not hard to see why they’re the most trusted and respected manufacturer in the pumping sector.
Over the years, Grundfos has continuously pushed the boundaries of pump technology, introducing groundbreaking advancements that have revolutionized the industry. Their commitment to quality, reliability, and sustainability has helped them forge a solid reputation, making Grundfos pumps the preferred choice for a wide range of applications worldwide.
